Starting in the very North of Italy in Trento Alto-Adige from Alois Lageder a stunning Pinot Noir, staying north, moving west through Piemonte and the historic Enrico Serafino, Dolcetto d'Alba, then down into Tuscany with what else but a Chianti Classico, chosen from the vineyards of Castellare. 

Then there's Lunelli Ziggurat Montefalco Rosso DOC from Umbria, an excellent partner for beef dishes and pastas with meat sauces

Then we head South, to the heal of the boot, Puglia. We have chosen an organic Nero d'Avola from Zensa, which literally translates to "without". A reference to their wine making philosophy of fully organic with as little human interference as possible. We also have Torre Mora's Scalunera Rosso, an exceptional red for grilled game meats or pasta with rich meat sauces. Also excellent with spiced foods, or paired with hard cheese.
