The Antonio Carluccio Foundation was established to carry forward Antonio’s legacy before he passed in November 2017.
The foundation aims to support the work of charities and non governmental organisations in alleviating hunger worldwide and provide the resources, training and development needed by young otherwise disadvantaged chefs entering the hospitality industry.
The foundation has been able to support many projects from including Action Against Hunger, The Clink, Surrey University and smaller charities such as St Petrock’s and The Langley House Trust.
Inspired by the charity’s amazing work, Carluccio’s have now raised an incredible £91,721 since 2020 through donating 50p from each sale of our best-selling Penne Giardiniera.
This dish was created by our founder, Antonio Carluccio, in the early days of the restaurant’s history and we are proud that his legacy lives on, helping to raise funds for Action Against Hunger’s life-saving work.

Action Against Hunger is a global humanitarian organisation that takes decisive action against the causes and effects of hunger, saves the lives of malnourished children and ensures that communities can access clean water, food, training and healthcare through its programmes in 47 countries around the world.
