Open the paper and you'll instantly get the aroma of rum wafting into the air... you are then in for a treat!
The pieces are made with the same ingredients as the chocolate coated figs: figs, the local variety of Fico Dottato del Cosentino, walnuts and candied peel are blended together. The mix is “fed” with rum, allowed to rest for a day, formed in the moulds and finally smothered in dark chocolate.
A very grown up treat! The flavours blend perfectly and the rum gives it a warm, aromatic taste. Enjoy with espresso after a meal.
